Overview

Wæm Qěchyi Rǐbmær was founded durring the late 11th century, by Bhogney Zlêbm Zeg̈kê. The establishment of Wæm Qěchyi Rǐbmær was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Wæm Qěchyi Rǐbmær's construction back out of the project. Bhogney Zlêbm Zeg̈kê pushed on reguardles, and Wæm Qěchyi Rǐbmær was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Wæm Qěchyi Rǐbmær was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Wæm Qěchyi Rǐbmær is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Wæm Qěchyi Rǐbmær is buildings are arranged arround a network of premissive flagstone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. The failry decent fortifications has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

A look around Wæm Qěchyi Rǐbmær gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. This all rests atop the unmistakable impression the town is one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which Wæm Qěchyi Rǐbmær brings to mind.

Cultural Notes

Wæm Qěchyi Rǐbmær's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos. Its buildings appear out-of-the-ordinary, draw the eye in immediately and sometimes create a feeling of strangeness. These distorted shapes and structure are not reserved to the building’s outer facade, they destabilize interior elements too, favoring minimalism and play on people’s perceptions by injecting a futuristic touch.
